We've met Mat Mladin, Greg White (2-wheel tuesday), Jake Zemke, Josh Hayes, David Allen Grier (who referred to me as the dog lady - 2 dogs with me at all times that year ) and a few other motorcycle racers. Superstar Mat Mladin Joins 2Fast and Seattle 100 Riders in the Fight Against Kidney Diseases
On Saturday, July 26, 2008, six-time AMA Superbike Champion and one of the most respected racers on the planet - Mat Mladin of Yoshimura Suzuki - will join motorcycle enthusiasts at the 2008 Seattle 100. This is a charitable track day event benefiting The NephCure Foundation (
http://www.nephcure.org/). The event has achieved remarkable success since its beginnings, as evidenced by last year’s record fundraising total: $145,000 in gross overall proceeds. We are “racing” towards a cure for two debilitating kidney diseases. The Nephcure Foundation is the only organization solely committed to seeking a cause and cure Nephrotic Syndrome and FSGS. The mission of the NephCure Foundation is to support research seeking the cause of NS and FSGS, improve treatment and find a cure.
Please help us raise money for this charity event. All proceeds will benefit The NephCure Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) public charity. Please spread the word to family, friends, co-workers and neighbors. With your help WE can make a difference! If you would like to make a donation, please visit

About a month ago I bought some Goodridge Superbike Pro Bolt-On brake lines for the front of my SV650 Superbike. The front end is off a 2006 GSX-R600 so that is the lines I bought.
It turns out the right banjo fitting puts the line in the way of the upper caliper mounting bolt. To remove the caliper mounting bolt you have to bend the line out of the way but even then the covering gets nicked. Eventually the steel wrapping of the line inside gets rubbed.
Defiantly a safety problem. So I've contacted the place I've purchased them from and am trying to figure out if I just got the wrong lines OR if there was some manufacturing problem.
Hope this all works out as I love the single banjo bolt at all of the fittings instead of a double somewhere like the master cylinder.
Here are some pictures I took with my of the issue:
This past weekend the Burgi Racing Team took 6th place in Round 1 of the Pacific Northwest Endurance Series. The race was a 4 hour at Portland International Raceways with OMRRA. Chad performed our fastest lap at a 1:20.297 on lap 104 of 164. He was really flying.
I would like to thank all of the team mates, Michael, Steve and Chad for an excellent job well done. Our Pirelli tires which looked like they could do 6 hours no problem. My wife, Ariana for keeping us on schedule. Also Troy and Pete for being helping hands at the wall and during our pit stops.
Up next is Round 2 at Pacific Raceways for another 4 hour but this time with WMRRA.
I've just got this installed so please pay attention to updates in the coming weeks to round out this addition to my website.
