All three racing organizations that I run with have posted their 2010 calendar. Now it is time to sit down and figure out where I'll be and when. Below are the list of all of the dates. The entries for Adrenline Freaks (a track day company) is based on their previous practice of having a day before the WMRRA weekend. For the OMRRA three day weekends I expect Cascade Track Time to be taking the Friday days to provide a track day before the race weekend. I bolded the entries which have conflicting dates.

In my first year of running WERA West and after missing two rounds (engine blew in Las Vegas and didn't attent Button Willow) I finished 7th in Lightweight Twins Superbike and 9th in Formula 2. It was a great season and I loved racing with WERA. Here's to next year!
Here is another excellent photo from Brandon Bones of Studio819 from the WERA GNF at Road Atlanta. This one is from coming out of turn 5.

This year I went to the WERA GNF. Below are some great shots by Brandon Bones of Studio819 from this event.
Here is a video I did of my 450 Superbike race with OMRRA on July 26th. I ended up getting black flagged as my rear camera fell off and was danging around. That really sucked as I was having a great race with Tyson Silva pushing me to increase my corner speed as that is where he would catch up with me since I had a ton of power over his CRF450R Supermoto.
I hope you enjoy this.
Well I finally went out to ride my local track, Pacific Raceways. Boy...I forgot just how freaking bumpy that track is. But it is a great place to do some bike setup due to the long straight and the hard braking into turn 3. Other than going out and doing some recreating I also took the opportunity to do some testing.
Since I converted my bike's chassis to a superbike I've been running a Bandit 1200 5.5" rear wheel. Last year when I was riding Pirelli's I would run a 180 Diablo Superbike Slick on the rear. This year with my switch to Dunlop I was recommended to run a 190 NTEC. Needless to say that 190 NTEC is massive for the SV650 weighting in at 32lbs mounted on that Bandit rim. Well at the last OMRRA round I had enough and got a stock SV650 rear wheel to mount up a 165 Dunlop slick. It was a great improvement but there was a nagging side effect. At one point in the lean the bike would just want to fall down. Well one day I ran into Dunlop's fitting chart and it turns out the preferred rim width for that tire is a 5.5" rim. Bingo!
So I got it mounted it up at the Pacific round and went for some laps. Boy is that much better. The lean is very consistant and doesn't want to fall down in the turn. I'm very very pleased.
Anyhow...time for some pictures from Brandon Bones of Studio819 (http://studio819.smugmug.com/)
I finally took a moment to update my results from this past year. They really sucked but I need to keep them up to date. I've also plugged in the rest of the planned race rounds into the results.
